The Harbord Cobbler cocktail

The Harbord Room in Toronto is no stranger to serious food lovers, offering contemporary Canadian cuisine. Now, it can add seasonal cocktails from an award-winning mixologist to its list of distingushing features. Evelyn Chick, formerly of Blue Water Café and UVA and a champion of the Vancouver cocktail scene recently came up with a new cocktail menu for the restaurant. This cobbler is inspired by what Canada has to offer seasonally.

1 1/2 oz. Wiser’s Legacy Canadian Whisky
1 oz. Rosewood Origin cabernet franc
3/4 oz. lemon juice
1/2 oz. maple syrup
1 tsp cranberry jam
1 sprig rosemary

Combine all ingredients, except rosemary, in cocktail shaker, add ice, shake vigorously and strain over crushed ice in Collins glass.

Garnish with spoonful of fresh cranberries and a sprig of Rosemary. Enjoy!
