Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar's Blood Alley cocktail

A smoky, spicy and fruity cocktail to tickle your palate

Justin Taylor, bar manager of Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar in Vancouver as an ode to the Gastown neighbourhood.

"Inspired by the famous alley in Gastown, the "Blood Alley" is a melting pot of flavour and excitement. This cocktail is rich with spice and smoky elements, yet remains light and refreshing. Its vibrant colour, speckled with black peppercorns, is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate."

For this drink, you'll need a Boston shaker, jigger, hawthorne strainer, fine mesh strainer, muddler, coupe glass and a peppered strawberry as a garnish.
